Robotic Saw Cell
The Robotic Saw Cell is a standard product that ComTech has developed. It is designed to utilize the flexibility of a robot to cutoff heavy gates from a casting. The robot will pick up the casting and manipulate it thru a cutoff saw to remove the heavy gates. Additional tools can be added for special features. The main spindle is controlled by a drive and torque profiles are continually monitored for process control.
