Robotic Part Extraction
Tired of bottlenecks in your die casting operation? ComTech's robotic extraction cell is engineered to streamline your process from start to finish. This intelligent system precisely unloads castings from your die casting machine, then performs a series of post-casting tasks like cooling, loading a trim press, or part ID marking. Built to handle a wide range of die casting machines—from 200 to 6,100 tons—our robotic solution is a powerful way to enhance productivity, improve safety, and ensure consistent quality in your facility.

Standard List of Deliverables
- FANUC Robot: A high-precision robot selected to perfectly match your die-casting machine, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Robot Riser: Custom-engineered to position the robot for ideal reach and cycle time.
- End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT): A custom tool designed to securely extract your finished castings, preventing damage.
- Parts Sensor Tree: An integrated sensor system for real-time part detection, reducing errors and scrap. These sensors can be implemented onto the extract robot to reduce cycle time.
- Cell Guarding: A complete safety system that meets industry standards, ensuring a secure work environment.
- Cell Control & Software: Our intuitive software makes operation easy and provides seamless integration with your factory.
- Runoff & Installation: We provide professional on-site installation and testing to guarantee a smooth and fast launch.
Optional Equipment
- QC or Scrap Chute: Automatically sort and divert parts that fail quality checks or are identified as scrap.
- Parts Conveyor: Transport finished parts from the robot cell to the next stage of production, eliminating manual handling.
- Cooling Station or Conveyor: Cool parts prior to the next process, or as they move on the conveyor.
- Quench Tank: Rapidly cool hot castings to improve part integrity and prepare them for further processing.
- Degate Station or Trim Press: Integrate trimming directly into the cell, creating a more finished product and eliminating a separate manual step.
- Spray Package on End of Arm Tooling: Use the same extraction robot with an auxiliary EOAT to apply spray to the die.
